Degree and area of specialization:
Ph.D.in Chemistry or related field reuquired prior to start of appointment. Area of specialization open.
 
  
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Post-doctoral research experience and teaching experience preferred but not required. Must have demonstrated potential for internationally recognized research in his/her field of specialization. Tenured candidates must have demonstrated excellence in scholarly research, teaching and service. Tenure appointment requires review by the Physical/Biological Sciences Divisional Committee.
Principal duties:
Successful candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level. Mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students required. Development of internationally recognized scholarly research program in area of specialization required. Perform professional and university service as appropriate.
