| M.D., completion of U.S. pediatric residency and child development or developmental disabilities fellowship programs. |
| | WI medical licensure, board certified in pediatrics and BC/BE in child development or developmental disabilities. |
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
| Completion of child development or developmental disabilities fellowship; clinical practice experience in an academic setting is preferred. Candidates for associate professor (CHS) or full professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track. |
Principal duties:
Clinical care to patients of the Neurodevelopmental-Behavioral Pediatrics division, with a particular emphasis and interest in patients aged 0-5 years of age, familiarity with care of infants and children who are medically fragile or with Down Syndrome, general developmental diagnoses, young ASD, ADHD and speech, language and feeding problems.
Teaching activities to various learners, to include, but not limited to, pediatric residents, fellows and other ancillary service providers.
