Project appointments require a Wisconsin residency. No civil service test is required for a candidate to be considered. The funding for project positions as well as the appointment of the employee may be terminated at any time prior to the project end date. Title Specifications

Job Summary:This 50% position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Participatory Learning and Teaching Organization (PLATO) sponsored by the Division of Continuing Studies. Primary responsibilities include program administration; processing memberships; customer service; handling event registrations; supporting board members, committee chairs, and volunteers; communicating with members; preparing materials; and handling finances.

This position is expected to utilize a considerable amount of independent action, initiative and judgment, exercising a high level of administrative, problem solving, and analytical ability. The individual in this position must also possess a positive attitude, exercise accuracy and professionalism, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties are performed under general supervision of the Associate Dean for Administration.
