| B. | 25% | Directs, oversees and participates in the completion and revision of University of Wisconsin Madison and UW System emergency management and response plans and supportive training. Work with local, state and federal counterparts to hold special training and exercises, and promote educational campaigns to keep our campus community and the surrounding area informed on how they can protect themselves and their families. |
| | 1. | Provide technical assistance, direction and leadership to university/system departments for completion and revision of university emergency response plans. These plans provide an integrated approach to the emergency management function. This may involve on-site visits to various departments or system universities to assist in providing support in the completion and revision of their plans. This includes coordinating a conference call among all UW-System COOP contacts twice a year, or as needed. |
| | 2. | Work directly with various levels of administration, monitoring the status of Department, College or University Plans within UW Madison as well as the UW System. |
| | 3. | Manage the annual process of reviewing all emergency response plans to ensure concurrence with statutes, consistency amongst various levels, and other requirements. |
